The Zoom Breathing Room continues in 2021!

*What a journey! Celebrating 34 weeks of teaching and learning in the 'zoom' Breathing Room throughout 2020*

We're going to continue in the Zoom Breathing Room in the first part of new year...


In Term 1, 2021 join Cate for online Now for Yoga 1.5 hour classes to focus on Yoga Philosophy on the mat: Niyamas - the second limb of Patanjali's Eightfold Path of Yoga:
WEDNESDAYS 6am - 7:30am - LIVE in ZOOM
It’s a 10 week term: 
January 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17, 24 (pre-recorded), March 3, 10.


Online 1.5 hr Class Payment guidelines:*​
10-class pass $125 Valid one term
5-class pass $65 Valid one term
casual class pass $20 

NORMAL in-person 1.5 hr Class Payment guidelines:*​
10-class pass $200 Valid one term
5- class pass $100 Valid one term
casual class $25

All class passes to be prepaid via direct banking.
If you miss a class, you will receive a recording of the class to practise with at another time.
This recording is available for one week, until Monday before the next class.

If you would like to join mid-term, class pass can be 'pro-rata-ed' for you.
All classes are mixed level, suitable from beginner to beyond.


The ‘real’ Breathing Room is is currently closed for group classes and OPEN for private Yoga sessions on Wednesdays until December 16, then Christmas break, re-opening Wednesday 13 January.
​With physical-distancing measures still in effect as of November 8, live group classes are likely to start again in the future, when there are no space restrictions. Resting and relaxing into the infinite space of the unknown :)


* The trend seems to be offering online classes at a reduced rate. After much meditation and time to reflect, I feel the same love, care and energy goes into offering this online teaching service. In addition, business overheads remain largely the same, i.e., less travel more data/online program purchasing. Yet we live in a world where the ethos is sometimes 'the cheaper the better'.
I am a one-person creative small business, practising the craft of offering Yoga knowledge for well-being. If you are suffering financially from this pandemic pause, please refer to the online class fees. If you are in a position to pay more, or even the normal fee, as mentioned, please do. I honour your choice and trust it is the best one for both of us.

From 30 April 2019, the following times are for NOW FOR YOGA Mixed Level Yoga classes:

TUESDAYS 6:45am - 8:15am

THURSDAYS 6pm - 7:30pm  


Class Payment options:
  • $20 when purchasing a 5 class pass = $100 /  valid 6 weeks from date of purchase
  • $20 when purchasing a 10 class pass = $200 / valid 12 weeks from date of purchase
  • $25 casual

Priority given to class pass holders when class becomes over-booked.
Payment for classes preferred prior to class. New students please contact Cate re direct deposit details.

PRACTICALITIES
  • Ah, the Breathing Room, a sacred space that invites you to leave your worries at the door, and relax into the ever present.
  • ​Please wear comfortable loose-fitting clothes that allow for freedom of movement.
  • Bring a drink bottle if you wish. Water purifier available in the Breathing Room.
  • Please leave shoes at the door of The Breathing Room. 
  • The room is heated and cooled, however, please bring extra layers in cooler months for warm-up at start of class and deep relaxation at the end of class. 
  • All Yoga props are supplied, however, feel free to bring your own mat to build up positive practice energy to inspire your home practice.  
  • The Breathing Room is a MOBILE-FREE zone. If you need to leave class early please let Cate know.
  • Access to The Strand building for all Yoga classes is via the back stairs. From Reid Street, go down the right side of the building and straight through the carpark. Turn left at end of building and go up the stairs. Toilets are in the foyer as you enter. The Breathing Room is straight ahead, through a doorway and on your left, opposite the internal staircase.
  • This practice is for your own relaxation and rejuvenation. Enjoy diving deep into the inner space, and building a solid, long-lasting connection to your Self.
  • ​May this practice benefit all beings. Hari Om Tat Sat. So it is.
