Mandala means circle in Sanskrit, the ancient and sacred language of India and Yoga.
Traditionally, Mandalas represent the Universe, all around us, and within us.
Nature Mandalas are a real way for me, solo or with a group to connect to Self, and to each other by being present in Nature, and by observing and attending to these sweet adaptations of Mother Nature's already spectacular patterned art.
They are ephemeral, left in situ as a love offering to Nature. They are also a way of disseminating the intention that goes into the heart of the Mandala.
Often as they are being created, the underlying intent is for the upliftment of human consciousness, as well as specific intent- making that could be personal or global.
As we create our mandalas, these art forms can come to:
- represent your state of consciousness in the now,
- serve as visual reminders of something meaningful to you,
- embody an intention / affirmation you are working on or that arises spontaneously,
- could be artplay for the pure pleasure of experimenting!
Let Mandala Play be exactly what you need to practise and uplift your creativity.
ENJOY.. Om shanti Peace Om
